Martin Kelly Found Dead? - Murder Conspiracy - Plastic Surgeon To The Stars
Leading plastic surgeon to the stars in Britain was found dead Tuesday night on his London home porch. Some suspect a heart attack but others say it’s really hard to believe. Currently at this time Scotland yard said his death is being held under investigation at the moment. His family and friends all say it is really hard to believe that he is gone.
Most don’t think about death when they are young, successful and have the world at their fingertips. However death happens to everyone. Was Martin Kelly’s death another 42 year old who has been overworked and probably overstressed and had a heart attack. Or was his death something else?
Mr Butler, whose son Rafferty was Mr Kelly’s godson, said: “Martin was definitely one of the most talented plastic surgeons of our generation. He was a really exceptional individual and it is a massive loss for all of us.”
Five years ago, Mr Kelly joined forces with fellow plastic surgeon Norman Waterhouse to set up Facing The World, a charity treating children from poor countries with severe facial deformity, and had previously worked as a volunteer in Afghanistan and Cambodia.
Mr Waterhouse said: “I am personally deeply proud of Martin’s achievement and the energy and skill he brought to the work we did together.
“He was one of a handful of worldwide respected names in nasal surgery, whether it was cosmetic or reconstructive surgery.”
Sarah Driver-Jowitt, the charity’s executive co-ordinator, said she was struggling to come to terms with his death.
“I find it impossible to refer to him in the past tense. Martin was one of the most alive people I have ever met.
“He was loyal, dedicated, enormously funny and he really cared about every single person he looked after - both in his professional life and with the charity.
“Although he seemingly moved in celebrity circles, he was totally happy to get down on his knees and play with the kids - he really treated them all as people rather than patients.”
Ms Driver-Jowitt said Mr Kelly was utterly committed to his wife and children: “He was incredibly devoted to his family - his children were his life.
“He and Natascha were the most amazing couple, just two beautiful people who were made for each other.”
Educated in Paris and at Winchester College in Hampshire before studying medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in London, Mr Kelly continued his surgical training in Oxford and London and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1993.
At the time of his death, he was a consultant craniofacial plastic surgeon at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
During his career, he was awarded a travelling scholarship to carry out research in microsurgery and facial reconstruction at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he spent two years.
His widow, who was born in London and brought up in Brighton before studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, is the step-daughter of media commentator Roy Greenslade.
They first met when she was just 15 and they fell in love 10 years later, marrying in France in May 1998.
Mr Greenslade said family, friends and colleagues were in “complete shock” at Mr Kelly’s sudden death.
“He was a truly magnificent man as a surgeon, as a father and as a husband. As well as being a brilliant doctor, he painted, he wrote his own music as well as being a great sportsman. He was just terrific and a true Renaissance man.”
Mr Kelly played guitar with rock and blues band Tuck That - because all the band members were plastic surgeons. If you are interested in plastic surgery then visit the resource.
