Non Cosmetic Surgery

When it comes to cosmetic surgery you have two different fields; those which are true surgical procedures and the ones that require a physician to perform but does not require a physical incision. These are classified as either invasive or non invasive surgical procedures but the later has lately been referred to as a non cosmetic surgery. These non cosmetic surgeries include things like in injectables, laser resurfacing and chemical peels of varying types.

The first non cosmetic surgery arena is that of the injectable. These injectables can be made of various substances like bovine collagens or even autologous collagens. What this means is that the injected material is either cow fat, or fate which is transplanted from other parts of out own body. These products which includes the popular BOTOX injection is a means to give a person a more youthful appearance, but unfortunately they will not last forever. Although an injectable will not last forever one of its bonuses is that there is no surgery required and it can normally be accomplished out-patient.

The most popular injection used today is that of the Botox injection. This injection is seen as the most effective means of accomplishing a cosmetic surgery look without the need for a knife. BOTOX is both safe and reliable although some people may be allergic. Through regular use the well defined lines of aging can be erased from existence. It is also found to be useful as a means to prevent fine lines and wrinkles in patients. In general, the BOTOX treatment alone is not as effective unless a filling procedure is used in conjunction with it to fill in the areas that do not look good as a result of the skin tightening. These fillers include things like Restylane and collagens.

Restylane which is really a hyaluronic acid can be used to help treat both fine facial lines as well as deep wrinkles. Restylane is known as a soft tissue enhancer and is generally used more in lip augmentations but is not limited to it. Restylane and various collagens like bovine collagen and autologous fats are used as fillers to help redefine the soft tissue layer under the skin. This redefining helps complete the youthful look achieved by the Botox treatments.

There is also a plethora of choices when it comes to light controlled facials. These non surgical procedures include things like microderm abrasion, laser resurfacing as well as intense pulsed light procedures. These procedures while intended to repair years of acne pitting along with spider veins and hair removal are also well adept at removing fine lines and wrinkles. They have also been shown to help remove stretch marks that have not had a chance to mature. Unfortunately a mature stretch mark cannot be removed.

Then you can choose from a wide variety of chemical peels and various facial treatments which are done by means of various chemicals in order to resurface the skin and give it a more youthful appearance. While these various chemical peels and facial treatments are great when performed on their own, they can also be used together with an invasive surgical procedure to help provide the patient with the best possible results.

From chemical and autologous injections to the use of lasers, the technology that is available now in the non cosmetic surgery field is growing. As long as there is a need for.
