Mesotherapy Treatment

The mesotherapy treatment was developed back in 1952 by a French physician who wanted a way to help his patients achieve a better bodily figure. Since 1952 this treatment procedure has developed worldwide as not only a cosmetic procedure but mesotherapy can also help a variety of injuries as well. At an average cost of around $350 to $500 the mesotherapy treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that utilizes a needle to deliver the treatment to the prescribed area. The whole procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes but it does have many drawbacks especially the onset of pain, discomfort as well as bruising as a direct result of the injection. This pain and discomfort has led to roughly a 90% abandonment rate of the mesotherapy treatment over the years.

There are no incisions made in the mesotherapy treatment as the procedure uses needles to deliver the medicinal “bullets” which contain various vitamin, minerals as well as amino acids to the mesoderm or middle layer of the skin. The mesotherapy treatment can help eliminate cellulite as fell as fat storages while at the same time it can slim the body and rejuvenate the skin thanks to it ant-aging benefits. The treatment has also been noted as helping various sports related injuries among many other injuries to the body and its skeletal structure. Unfortunately this procedure requires many treatments to be successful and although until just recently it used purely needles resulting in long periods between treatments; the mesotherapy treatment is now available as a no needle mesotherapy.

Although the results of the mesotherapy treatment are long term they are in no way a permanent fix to anything and should not be considered a miracle cure. Furthermore due to the possibility of risks and complications associated with the procedure it is important to discuss the pros and cons associated with the mesotherapy treatment with your doctor so that you can weigh benefits before making a well-informed decision. Knowledge is the key and although the mesotherapy treatment is considered a minimally invasive procedure it is still important none the less.
