Mesotherapy

Back in 1952 a French physician developed a new procedure to help slim out a person’s body through the means of cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation. The resulting procedure was a minimally invasive procedure which came to be known as mesotherapy. Mesotherapy became very popular throughout Europe as a result of this pioneering procedure not only for the benefits of having a better liking body but also as a means to repair a variety of injuries.

There are many pros and cons associated with the mesotherapy procedure of which the biggest disadvantage comes from the pain caused by the injections. In the case of mesotherapy a doctor makes a series of injections to the area that needs treatment. These injections contain either conventional or even homeopathic medicines which can include things like minerals, vitamins as well as amino acids. The procedure of the injection itself includes the injection of these medicines into the mesoderm which is the middle layer of the skin. Dubbed medicinal bullets this variety of medicines work together so as to eliminate cellulite, promote loss of weight, elimination of various local fat deposits or even counter act the aging process.

Unfortunately the standard procedure did not grow in popularity as much as it should have for the simple fact that there is a lot of pain associated with the treatment. Most patients need to wait two or three weeks between visits resulting in not the best outcomes possible due to the length between treatments. The good news is that thanks to the advancements in science we have today many people who may even have a low tolerance for pain can now undergo the mesotherapy procedure as it is now available as a no needle mesotherapy procedure.

It is important to note that although the mesotherapy procedure is considered minimally invasive there are various risks and complications associated with the procedure which is not just limited to pain and bruising caused by the mesotherapy microinjections. Any potential mesotherapy patient should speak to their doctor to get a clear understanding of the process as it does have a 90% abandonment rate.
