Body contouring and body sculpting have reached such heights that almost any part of a human body can be changed according to one’s desire and will. Thanks to plastic surgery. The only criteria are that the person undergoing the surgery has to be in good health, in a good frame of mind and must have an experienced and board certified person to do the job.
Changing the appearance of a person’s body is a specialized job. Statistics show that women go in more for body sculpting than men. The female breasts being an attractive part of her body, if it is anything less than perfect, she will try to do anything under her control to make it perfect. The size and shape of the breasts can be changed at will through a plastic surgery. The nipples normally are protruding and if they are not, and are inverted, then the woman may be self-conscious, may have low self-esteem and may want to change it.
These inverted nipples are identified if they look like slits or are retracted into the breasts. Sometimes both breasts are impaired and in some cases only one breast may be affected. If a girl is born that way, then there may not be any problem. But if the nipples suddenly start becoming inverted, then there might be some other underlying cause. Inverted nipples can be corrected to some extent by external means. Using breast or nipple shields, using breast pumps which suck the breasts and bring out the nipples are some of the methods. Arousal, pregnancy and breast-feeding may cause inverted nipples to become normal, sometimes for a short period and sometimes permanently.
There are also some sex toys available, which draw out the inverted nipples. Surgery is the last option because it may have side effects. A plastic surgeon may be able to operate on the nipples and draw them out. Making tiny incisions and repairing the nipples by arranging the underlying tissues and muscles may correct the nipples but this surgery might render the breasts incapable of feeding an infant.
Just as lips and eyebrows and navel are pierced, the nipples can also be pierced. The jewelry used to pierce the nipples may cause them to become normal but again it has its side effects of rendering the woman not capable of breast-feeding her children. Also these surgical methods do not have the support of the national Health and hence insurance will not cover these costs.
